Hajiji Noor sworn in as Sabah’s Chief Minister for a second term
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has congratulated Gabungan Rakyat Sabah chairman, Hajiji Noor, on securing a fresh mandate to form the state government. Mr Hajiji has been sworn in for a second term as the state's Chief Minister, after his party pulled ahead in a tightly contested election. The GRS will lead the next state government, forming a coalition with Upko, Mr Anwar's Pakatan Harapan and five independents for a simple majority. Afifah Ariffin reports.
