Law Society members vote for all future presidents to be elected council members
Members of the Law Society of Singapore have voted for all future presidents to be elected council members. Mr Dinesh Singh Dhillon will also step aside as its incoming president, with Senior Counsel Tan Cheng Han set to assume the role instead. The decisions were made at an extraordinary general meeting earlier this evening, after weeks of debate within the legal community over governance issues. Sherlyn Seah reports.Â
