Singaporeans recount experience during magnitude 7.5 quake in northeast Japan
The Singapore Embassy in Tokyo has urged Singaporeans to closely monitor Japanese advisories and local conditions, after a magnitude 7.5 quake struck last night. Noah Kong spoke to some Singaporeans who were near the northeastern coast, such as Hakodate. Scoot and Singapore Airlines said all flights between Singapore and Japan were unaffected, including to and from Sapporo — the closest major airport to the affected region served by both airlines.Â
